Business License Agreement

AI OS Platform — Business Tier. This agreement governs your use of the AI OS platform under the Business License. Please read it carefully before completing your purchase.

Effective Date: June 1, 2026

1. Overview

The AI OS Business License is a one-time payment of $1,997 USD. It grants a perpetual, self-hosted license to the AI OS platform. The Business License includes everything available in the Community edition plus all commercial features, modules, and integrations described in this agreement.

This agreement is entered into between AI OS Orchestration Lab (“Licensor”) and the individual or organization purchasing the license (“Licensee” or “You”).

2. Grant of License

Subject to the terms of this agreement and upon receipt of full payment, Licensor grants Licensee a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use, deploy, and operate the AI OS platform, including all commercial modules and features available at the Business tier.

• The license is per-organization. Each license key authorizes one (1) production deployment.
• You may install and run the software on development and staging environments without restriction for internal testing purposes.
• The license does not expire and does not require renewal.

3. What’s Included

4. Custom Branding

The Business License lets you make your own private instance your own:

• You may brand your instance with your own company name, logo, and color theme on your dashboard.
• “Powered by AI OS” attribution is NOT required. You may remove AI OS references from your own instance’s user-facing interface.
• Branding is managed through the platform’s admin settings panel.

5. Payment Terms

• Amount: One-time payment of $1,997 USD.
• Processor: Payment is processed securely via Stripe.
• Recurring fees: None. There are no monthly, annual, or renewal fees.
• License duration: Perpetual. The license does not expire and does not require renewal to remain valid.
• Upon successful payment, you will receive a unique license key and access to the platform source code repository.

6. Support

• Priority email support is included with the Business License. You may contact the support team directly for technical assistance.
• Community support is available via GitHub Issues for bug reports, feature requests, and general questions.
• No priority response times. Target response time commitments and dedicated Slack support require the Enterprise License.
• No dedicated Slack channel. Private Slack support channels require the Enterprise License.

7. Your API Keys

AI OS connects to third-party AI providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini, xAI Grok, and others) using API keys that you provide.

• You are responsible for creating and maintaining your own API accounts with each provider.
• All API usage costs incurred by your deployment are your sole financial responsibility.
• AI OS does not proxy, resell, or subsidize any third-party API costs.
• You are responsible for monitoring your own API usage and billing with each provider.

8. Self-Hosting

The Business License is a self-hosted solution. You are solely responsible for:

• Provisioning and maintaining your own server infrastructure (VPS, cloud instance, or dedicated server).
• Server security, including firewalls, access controls, and operating system updates.
• Data backups and disaster recovery procedures.
• Domain name registration, DNS configuration, and SSL/TLS certificate management.
• Compliance with applicable data protection regulations (GDPR, CCPA, etc.) as they pertain to your deployment and your organization’s data.

9. Updates

• You receive all software updates for the lifetime of the product at no additional cost.
• Updates are delivered via the Git repository. You pull updates at your discretion using standard Git commands.
• There is no obligation to update. You may remain on any version of the software indefinitely.
• Licensor does not guarantee backward compatibility of updates. It is your responsibility to test updates in a staging environment before applying them to production.

10. Restrictions

Under this license, you may NOT:

• Resell the license itself. You may not transfer, sublicense, or resell your AI OS license key to another party. The license authorizes use within your own organization only.
• Redistribute the source code publicly. You may not publish, open-source, or otherwise make the AI OS source code available to the general public.
• Remove license validation. You may not disable, circumvent, or remove the license key validation mechanism from the software.
• Exceed your deployment limit. You may not use a single license key on more than one (1) production deployment. Additional production deployments require additional license purchases.

11. No Warranty

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NONINFRINGEMENT. LICENSOR DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SOFTWARE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

12. Limitation of Liability

IN NO EVENT SHALL LICENSOR BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SOFTWARE.

LICENSOR’S TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY UNDER THIS AGREEMENT SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT ACTUALLY PAID BY LICENSEE FOR THE LICENSE ($1,997 USD).

13. Refund Policy

• 14-day refund window. You may request a full refund within fourteen (14) days of the date of purchase, for any reason, no questions asked.
• After the 14-day window has elapsed, no refunds will be issued.
• To request a refund, contact [email protected] with your order confirmation or license key.
• Upon refund, your license key will be deactivated and you must cease all use of the software and delete all copies.

14. Termination

• This license is perpetual and does not expire under normal use.
• Licensor may terminate this license for material breach of this agreement, provided that Licensor first delivers written notice specifying the breach and granting Licensee thirty (30) days to cure the breach.
• If the breach is not cured within the 30-day cure period, the license terminates automatically.
• Upon termination, you must cease all use of the software and destroy all copies in your possession.
• Surviving sections: Sections 12 (No Warranty), 13 (Limitation of Liability), and any indemnification obligations shall survive termination of this agreement.

15. Upgrade Path

Business License holders may upgrade to the Enterprise License at any time. The upgrade cost is calculated as follows:

• Enterprise License price: $4,997 USD
• Business License credit: −$1,997 USD
• Upgrade cost: $3,000 USD

The Enterprise License adds the following capabilities beyond the Business tier:

• SSO / SAML single sign-on integration
• Priority support with target response times
• Dedicated private Slack support channel
• Custom agent development support
• Custom domain support (included in all self-hosted tiers)
